On Wednesday, March 19, former Parkersburg South High School standout Cayden Mackey’s current college team, the USC Upstate Spartans, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wofford Terriers.
The game took place at Fluor Field. This was their first matchup against the Terriers this season.
The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 6 p.m. at Nielsen Field @ CSU Ballpark against Charleston Southern Buccaneers.
