On Friday, Feb. 14, former Ripley High School standout Cassidy Cummings’ current college team, the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Tusculum Pioneers.

The game took place at Red Edmonds Field. This was their second matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Yellow Jackets’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. at Sue Morris Sports Complex against Bowie State Bulldogs.
