WVU Tech baseball earned its fourth consecutive victory with a 10-7 decision over NCAA DII Davis & Elkins College Wednesday. The Golden Bears now hold a record of 9-13 while the Senators move to 0-12.
Braedan Pakkala drew the start and recorded the W on the mound after 2.0 innings of work. Pakkala struck out four while giving up three earned runs.
Ben Paloma threw for 2.0 innings, striking out three and giving up zero earned runs.
Cole Cline also struck out three (1.0 inning) while Zack Reid had two strike outs (1.0 inning).
Carson Brown finished a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate with a double, triple, RBI and run scored.
Tyler Wilkinson produced three RBI on two hits while Logan Stump tallied two RBI on two hits.
Broedy Boyce, who also had two hits, knocked a double towards a RBI and run scored.
The Golden Bears will return to GoMart Ballpark tomorrow, Thursday for a doubleheader with River States Conference opponent Point Park beginning at 1 p.m.
