On Tuesday, March 4, former Parkersburg South High School standout Cayden Mackey’s current college team, the USC Upstate Spartans, lost 7-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Clemson Tigers.

The game took place at Fluor Field. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 3 p.m. at Cleveland S. Harley Baseball Park against Troy Trojans.
