On Saturday, April 5, former Ripley High School standout Cassidy Cummings’ current college team, the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets, won 8-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats.

The game took place at Lady Jackets Field. This was their second matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Yellow Jackets’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 12 p.m. at Lady Jackets Field against Davis & Elkins Senators.
