On Saturday, April 12, former Ripley High School standout Cassidy Cummings’ current college team, the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Salem Tigers.

The game took place at Lady Jackets Field. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Yellow Jackets’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 3 p.m. at Lady Jackets Field against Salem Tigers.
