34 percent of applicants to Ohio Valley University were admitted for fall 2018

At Ohio Valley University, 92 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 51 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Vienna enrolled 509 students in fall 2018, including 481 in undergraduate and 28 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

28 percent of undergraduates are residents of West Virginia, and 56 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (49 percent) and Black or African American (7 percent).

The school admitted 34 percent of the 610 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 38 percent enrolled.
