WVU Parkersburg will observe Patriot Day on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 12 p.m., in the Theater with its annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony. An officer from the West Virginia National Guard will be the guest speaker to discuss how the day's events impacted the National Guard. We will also honor those who served, or are currently serving, in the armed forces and as first responders.
