Middle School Team Wins Speech Tournament
The Middle School forensics team competed at the Moundsville Middle School speech tournament this past Saturday.
The small but mighty team did an excellent job, bringing home the following trophies:In Impromptu, Audrey Kenamond won second place and Maddie Gable took first.In Prose, Lydia Dias won first place.In Sales, Zach Kuttie took first place.In Humorous Interpretation, Chloe Patt won first place.In Poetry, Maddie Gable won third place and Max Blinco took second place.In Declamation, Scarlett Oliver took third place and Audrey Kenamon won first.In Broadcasting, Lydia Dias won third place.And in Duo, the team of Chloe Patt and Zack Kuttie won first place.Due to the outstanding efforts of the whole team, they won the tournament for the first time since 2012! Congratulations, Middle School forensics!
