2.7% of Mason County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Mason County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 265 people out of the 25,667 living in Mason County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Mason County has decreased compared to the 2.9% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Mason County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 6.4%.
