On Sunday, May 4, former Parkersburg South High School standout Cayden Mackey’s current college team, the USC Upstate Spartans, won 14-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Longwood Lancers.
The game took place at Cleveland S. Harley Baseball Park. This was their third matchup against the Lancers this season.
The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7 at 6 p.m. at GSU Baseball Complex against Georgia State Panthers.
