Trenton C. Barnhart, a candidate for the West Virginia State Senate, has recently used his social media platform to highlight campaign endorsements, legislative achievements, and community engagement.

On April 14, 2026, Barnhart announced an endorsement from West Virginians for Life, stating “I believe in the three things that matter: Faith, Family and Freedom. I’m proud to announce that West Virginians for Life has endorsed our campaign for the West Virginia State Senate. I’ll always stand tall for the right to life! “

The following day, April 15, 2026, Barnhart discussed recent tax reform efforts alongside other state leaders in Parkersburg. He wrote “Today I joined @MorriseyWV and other leaders in Parkersburg to discuss the tax reform we enacted during the 2026 Session. We cut taxes by $230 million dollars, including a 5% reduction in the PIT.

As your Senator, I’ll always fight to put more money back in your pocket!”

On April 16, 2026, Barnhart shared his experience visiting Wirt County: “Last week I was blessed to spend an evening in Wirt County, enjoying great conversations with folks who truly care about their community. I’m grateful for the warm welcome and the shared commitment to making our communities stronger.”

Barnhart is currently running for a seat in the West Virginia State Senate. His campaign emphasizes traditional values and fiscal policy initiatives such as significant tax reductions passed during the state’s 2026 legislative session.
